Before you use this site
By visiting this website or contacting Harris Group through it, you agree to these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site. These terms apply to website visits, service enquiries, appointment requests, and information exchanged through our online contact channels.
These terms are written for customers in British Columbia. They do not replace any written estimate, service agreement, or other document that we provide for a specific job.
Terms that apply to your request
1. Website information
We aim to keep service descriptions, availability, pricing guidance, and contact details accurate. Information on this site can change without notice, and a website description does not create a promise that a particular service, date, price, or technician will be available.
2. Service enquiries and bookings
A request submitted through the site is an enquiry until Harris Group confirms it. A booking becomes confirmed only when we accept the request and provide the agreed service details, appointment time, and applicable price or estimate.
3. Estimates and charges
Any estimate is based on the information available when it is prepared. The final charge may change if the work differs from the original description, if extra time or materials are required, or if site conditions prevent the work from being completed as described. We will explain material changes before proceeding where reasonably possible.
4. Customer responsibilities
Please provide accurate contact details, access instructions, and information about conditions that may affect the work. You must make the property reasonably safe and accessible at the agreed time. If access is unavailable or the work area is unsafe, the appointment may need to be rescheduled and related charges may apply.
5. Changes and cancellations
Contact us as soon as you know that an appointment needs to change. We will confirm whether a new time is available and whether a cancellation or rescheduling charge applies. Charges depend on the service, preparation already completed, and notice provided.
6. Payments
Payment is due according to the terms provided with your estimate, booking confirmation, or invoice. You agree to provide a valid payment method and to pay the confirmed amount when it is due. Overdue balances may affect future bookings.
7. Photos and access information
If you send photos, measurements, alarm details, entry codes, or other property information, you confirm that you have permission to share it. We use that information to assess, schedule, and carry out the requested service, and we ask you not to send information that is unrelated to the work.
8. Acceptable website use
You may use this site for genuine personal or business service enquiries. Do not interfere with the site, probe its security, submit misleading information, copy its content for commercial use, or use automated activity that places an unreasonable load on our systems.
9. Third-party services
The site may refer to payment providers, communication services, scheduling tools, or other third-party websites. Their own terms and privacy practices apply when you use them. Harris Group is not responsible for content or outages outside our reasonable control.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when our services, booking process, or legal obligations change. The revised version will appear on this page with an updated review date. Your continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Our role and your rights
Harris Group provides home and business services based on the information agreed for each job. We take reasonable care when delivering confirmed services, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted website access or results where conditions outside our control affect the work.
Nothing in these terms limits a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under British Columbia or Canadian law. If a court finds one part of these terms unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply.
Please keep your booking confirmation, estimate, invoice, and any written instructions. They help resolve questions about a specific appointment.
